Successfully implemented SAT in Pharmacy Zagreb

Delivered and put into operation Mixer Homogenizer 120l for semi-solid products. On that occasion, the machine was installed and the operator who will manage the machine was trained.

Zagreb, April 5, 2024 – In the period from 2-3 April, Omniprojekt’s team consisting of Stefan Milošković, team leader and Ivica Bulatović, mechanic-fitter, was in Zagreb, in “Gradska Lekarna Zagreb”, for the final reception of the Mixer Homogenizator 120l for semi-solid products. On that occasion, the machine was installed and the operator who will manage the machine was trained.

The equipment was received by Jure Morović, mag. Pharm. spec. of pharmaceutical technology, and Vesna and Antonio, pharmacists from the Pharmacy, were on training, in order to be equipped for later work on the machine. Before acceptance at the customer’s premises (SAT – Site Acceptance Test), DQ (Design Qualification), IQ (Installation Qualification) and OQ (Operation Qualification) were previously performed. After these qualifications, the SAT, i.e. testing and putting the machine into operation at the customer’s place, was successfully completed.

The cooperation between the City Pharmacy Zagreb and Omniprojekt came about after the increase in demand for products produced and packaged by the pharmacy. This required a much larger volume of production, which their 50l working volume mixer at the time was not able to achieve. The demand for a new mixer with a larger volume was approached, so as Omniprojekt had the best references in Croatia, an agreement was reached and the procurement of a mixer with a volume of 120l was started, which will double the production capacity.

As Stefan Milošković explained to us on that occasion, Omniprojekt’s mixer-homogenizer is a process machine made of stainless steel, for vacuum mixing, dispersion and homogenization, from light-liquid to pasty media. “The working vessel is a duplicator with a built-in system for heating, temperature regulation and cooling, and mixing is done by a system of inverter-controlled mixers,” Milošković added. “It is produced in four sizes, from a laboratory model of 15 liters to an industrial model with a volume of 120 liters”.

The institution “Pharmacy Zagreb” was founded at the beginning of 1966. With its 45 pharmacies, galenic and analytical laboratory, Ljekarna proudly continues the 660-year-long tradition of pharmacy in Zagreb, which began at the beginning of the 14th century.

Zagreb City Pharmacy is a contract health institution of the Croatian Institute for Health Insurance. It was registered in the court register of the Commercial Court in Zagreb on April 1, 1997. after the merger of Ljekarna Zagreb and Ljekarna Trešnjevka, the two largest pharmacies in the City of Zagreb.
